Here’s a simple and refreshing smoothie recipe to start your day off right. The dandelions were freshly picked from the back yard.
- 2 apples
- 1/2 to 1/3 cucumber
- 1 handful of dandelion greens
- 2 collard greens (stems removed)
- A few pieces of frozen mango
- ~2 cups water ( add more until smoothie reaches desired consistency
- ~1 tsp chia seeds
- ~1 tsp hemp seeds
- ~1 Tbs sunflower seeds
Add chopped apples, cucumber, and frozen mango. Add water. Add seeds. Blend these ingredients and then add the greens and blend until smooth. Add more water as needed. Pour and enjoy!
